On June 9, 1997, Ben Folds Five was one of the first guests to appear on a new series called Sessions At West 54th . Having just recently released their second album, Whatever and Ever Amen , the band recorded one of their best lives sets for the critically acclaimed series. Of course, due to the show's 1/2 hour time constraint, only a handful of the songs BFF recorded ever made it to air - but now, for the first time, you can see the band's performance in its entirety. As an added bonus, this DVD features the complete and long-unavailable Spare Reels footage: a 45-minute film which contains, as was written at the time.
